Discover the Roue du Roy at the Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc!
La Roue du Roy, according to a well-orchestrated tradition, is the flight of pheasants released from the top of a tower. Posted within a perimeter of 200 meters around the tower, the hunters are installed in caches either solo or in pairs, depending on the number of participants. From the top of the 24-foot tower, one bird at a time is released 360 degrees and passes over the hunter at a speed of approximately 50km/h. Between each flight, a rotation is made to allow each participant to try from all possible angles.
La Roue du Roy includes 5 launched pheasants per person.
